Telecom NZ to close CDMA network

Telecom New Zealand will switch off its CDMA network in mid-2012.

The New Zealand incumbent also announced it will close its CDMA-based WorldMode Roaming service on October 28, while its 1xEV-DO data service will be scrapped from November 30.
